Ashley Howard, LISW Ashley has worked with children and their families for her entire post-graduate career. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Ohio State University before attending New York University (NYU) to receive her Master of Social Work degree. While at NYU Ashley completed two separate internships with an emphasis on trauma therapy. Upon graduation from her Master's program, she returned to Columbus, Ohio to begin her career. Ashley takes a holistic approach in her treatment by assessing client's strengths and struggles in all aspects of their lives and by working with children and their families in the home, school, and community. The intensive home and community-based treatment has afforded her the experience of coordinating care with schools, other treatment providers, and the juvenile court system. Ashley is trained in Multi-systemic Therapy (MST), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. She draws upon her education and training to create individualized treatment for every child and family. Ashley is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio and member of the National Association of Social Workers.
